Hi, I'm Abi the very proud founder, owner & dog walker of Walkies Altrincham.

In 2023 I set up a dog walking service for the busy dog parents in my local area, Altrincham. As a proud owner of a gorgeous & very friendly Cavapoo, Elsie, I know just how much our dogs mean to us! I genuinely treat all the dogs I have the pleasure of walking as if they are mine. They always receive my personal attention, lots of love & cuddles when in my care.
It is always myself who walks the dogs; their safety & happiness is my top priority! I pride myself in the trust & bond I quickly make which ensures the dogs always feel safe & happy when they are with me.

I have created a playground where the dogs I walk are confident together & enjoy being with one another. Wagging tails, smiling faces & tired dogs at the end of our walks are guaranteed.

GROUP DOG WALKING

How Does it Work?
I collect your dog from your home or place of work at an agreed time & day. It will always be myself who walks your dog, their safety & happiness is my top priority which is why they will always receive my personal attention & lots of love!
Your dog will be comfortably & securely transported with others in an estate car, not in a crate & able to look out of the window.
Please note I'm a non-smoker.

Flexible Scheduling​​
Life is busy which is why I offer flexible scheduling to fit your routine, including early mornings, evenings & weekends if required.

How Long is Your Dog Out With Me?
I will walk your dog for 60 minutes, a maximum of 6 compatible, friendly, similar sized dogs per group.
Don't be surprised if your dog is out with me for up to 2 hours as we'll be picking up & dropping off their furry friends.

Where Do We Walk?
Our walks will be safe, varied, stimulating, exciting & fun for your dog.
Building Trust
To your dog, when I first start walking them I'm pretty much a stranger. Someone they've met once in the comfort & safety of their own home who then returns on a different day to take them for a walk. Your dog may be wary, nervous, unsure & possibly a little scared. This is why I work hard to build trust, ensure they feel safe & happy when they are with me. History has proven it doesn't take long for us to bond, just read my testimonials.
I treat all dogs I have the pleasure of walking like my very own!

On or Off The Lead?
Only with your permission & if I thinks it's safe for your dog will I let them off the lead. If you prefer your dog to be kept on the lead at all times for various reasons, that's fine, it doesn't stop them enjoying their walk.

During the Walk?
During our walk your dog will be sniffing, exploring, playing, chasing their furry friends or happily wandering along. Whether your pooch loves a leisurely stroll or an active adventure I customise each walk to suit their preferences.
We walk in all weathers (unless it's not safe), if your dog has a waterproof or warm coat, leave it out & I'll happily pop it on when I collect & take off when I return home.
After our walk if required your dog will have their paws & belly rinsed off & get a good rub down to dry off/ clean as much as possible.

Home Time
At the end of our walk I return your dog to home or place of work & safely leave them as per your instructions - if you want me to put their food down for them/ top up their water, no problem, just let me know.
​
Your dog will be tired by the end of our walk, ready to curl up and sleep!

Updates Included
Enjoy peace of mind with regular photos & videos so you can see what a great time your pup has with me.

What's the Cost?
£15.00 one dog per household
£25.00 two dogs per household

What Day of The Week Can I Walk Your Dog?
The majority of dog walks take place Monday to Friday but I am available Saturday and Sunday & can walk your dog in the evening if required.
